Well, my boys pulled it off.
The Saints won the Superbowl!
(Jesus’ second-coming must be just around the corner.)
My family spent the evening on the couch watching the excitement and, boy, was it it exciting!
We snacked on pepper jelly dip, buffalo chicken dip, red beans and rice, and king cake.
La Petite Belle kept reminding me that we’re supposed to use our inside voice and that I was very loud. I told her that the inside voice rule is null and void when the Saints are playing.
La Petite Belle also gave the quote of the night:
“WE didn’t do anything. We’re not the team.”
Touche’.
Whatever.
I’ll be headed out this week to trade my NFC Championship shirt for a Superbowl Champions shirt.
Life is good.
It was a great game! I still can't believe it!
Yay for the underdog! We watched it too…the pizza gave me heartburn. LOL
Our boys did it! It was incredible! Who dat forever!!!!!
That game was the best! Seriously.
Congratulations! We had so much fun watching the game and hours of pre-game 🙂 It's been fun to be a Saints fan…if only for a few weeks!
Woo hoo!! Our inside voice was null and void as well! We were so loud that my husband had to take one of our dogs to another room to calm her down! LOL!! Great game, great win and we are still smiling big this morning! :o)
I have to say I think I heard you and Rachel yelling all the way up here! ha! so exciting!!
Geaux Saints!!!! I like them because Roman Harper played at Alabama (Roll Tide) and more importantly he's from Prattville…which is where I live! I remember him as a 5 year old and now he is a big ol' Super Bowl Champion!!!!
Congrats, Mama Belle, I know you're proud! We're happy for Brees and all the Saints, too! They gave us one exciting Super Bowl to watch, that's for sure!
We are relatively new Saints fans. We chose them as our pro team of choice after we relocated to South Alabama. As happy as I am, the long time Saints fans are the folks that I am happiest for – sounds like it has been a long time in coming.
CONGRATS!! Geaux Saints!
Congrats!
I thought Drew Brees holding his little baby boy and celebrating after the game was the cutest thing I've seen in awhile!
I want to remember every moment of last night forever. =)
I was pulling for the Saints as the underdogs and my way of calling the winner worked again. I decide which uniforms look the best (because how can a team really play well if they don't look the best – it matters ya know!). I'm about 85% accurate – just sayin'!
At our house we laugh that Christ will return when the Cubs are in the World Series and are in the tie breaking game. They are in the bottom of the 9th, bases are loaded with 2 outs when…
BAM!
it happens…..
Congrats! I'm glad for you. 🙂

Congrats to you (them)…whatever!
