Tonight I’m throwing a party for about 180 of my closest friends.
It’s “The Like Totally Awesome Ladies’ Eighties Christmas Party (as if it’s not going to be rad, for sure).”
With the planning of this, combined with my role in the Christmas production next week, (not to mention my day-to-day roles at work and home, including an all-weekend soccer tournament), I’ve been a little distracted.
I have forsaken my blog somewhat for the past couple of weeks.
Trust me. I wish I had every evening free to write until my little heart’s content. But, alas, I do not.
Oh, and did I mention New York?
Yeah, remember? It’s where I’m headed next weekend.
So, I’m not sure how consistent I will be posting. But after all this chaos is over, I’ll be back to my regular posting schedule.
But, until then, I’ll be doing this.
(Actually, I am doing a little dance to Paula Abdul’s, “Straight Up.” I know, scary, huh? I’ll let you know how that goes.)
I've missed your posts!
And FYI — that scene from 13 going on 30 is what made me fall in love with Thriller in the first place 🙂 Wish I could be a fly on the wall at your party — sounds like a good time!
Oh and have fun in New York! I'll be there too soon — maybe we'll run into each other {you know, because there are only like 5 million other people in the city}.
The 80's party sounds like such a blast and NYC is one of my favorite places to go! Have fun with all that! Enjoy! 🙂
180 people?! good night, woman. You are super woman!
Yay for NYC!! Not gonna lie…I'm pretty jealous bout that.
Tis the season for busy busy busy.
Have fun with all your doing and we'll be here when you get back. But you are going to video the "Straight Up" thing…right?!? We want to see it, not just hear about it.
Put on that Swatch Watch, layer a vest over your shirt with the collar turned up (be sure there is some hot pink thrown in) and have a ball!
I KNOW you are so excited about going to New York and I KNOW I am so jealous!
Great clip (obviously I don't know 13 going on 30!). SO impressed with your party hosting and general organization of many women for assorted reasons! I must pick your brains some time about how you manage that!
Don't worry about the blog. We understand!
Looking forward to New York for you! Try to ignore the many Brits there on Christmas shopping binges!
BTW you have an award at my blog. Check it out and claim it when you have time.
