The food is packed. (I have never, in all my life, bought squeeze cheese.)

We’ve got lots of water.

We’ve got our entertainment together. Granted, if the electricity goes out, which is a given, no movies will be happenin’. Our laptops and cell phones are fully charged and our gas tank is filled.

We even have our sandbags out by the doors. This is our pond area … just hope we don’t lose the fish, especially the $20 koi I bought for Beau for his birthday. I’m hoping he doesn’t just float away somewhere.

We are headed to the church first thing in the morning. My friend, Kari, bless her heart, is going to keep Roxy Belle, since we can’t bring our pets to the church. Thanks, Kari! You made me cry today. So, that’s taken care of.
Two biggest concerns for us are:
1. No electricity. We lost electricity for Lily and Rita for about three days each. It was hot and miserable. The news people are saying to expect to be out of power for anywhere from three days up to a week. Not cool.
2. Flooding. We do live in a flood zone. Meteorologists say to expect lots of rain and flooding, even with the rainfall reaching the double digits, maybe 10″.
I’m hoping to get some good pictures for you guys, not that I’m a storm chaser or anything. I will not be doing this … WOW.
