I found this in my hair this morning, which Beau plucked out with tweezers.
I know, I know … you’re not supposed to pluck the gray hairs. Why? I’m not sure. I think it’s because two grow back in its place. MYTH or FACT? Don’t know.
And by the way, this is not my actual gray hair, which I had set aside on a hand towel to show you, which La Petite Belle ended up using to dry her mouth after brushing her teeth, thus, losing the hair somewhere on the bathroom floor. My gray hair was not straight, but curly and wiry, and stuck straight up out of the middle of my head. I wish I could show it to you in all its glory.
Sorry to hear about the discovery. I know I have them and luckily enough since they don’t stick up, I can pretend they are not there. LOL
Just wanted to let you know that you won a runners up prize in my giveaway. Check out my blog and I sent you an email as well.
You are seriously so funny…I’m so sure? I do have gray hairs in my head though…it’s a curse with my family, we start graying younger than most it seems! Stinks!
Oh, but you can’t SEE my gray hair because I dye it religiously! In fact hair dye is part of our emergency storage…uhhh…or should be…I better look into that!
I had to start the whole hair color and highlights this year. Just wait until your eyebrows start to go white. That will make you feel REALLY old! It seems that for me all the grays started at once and at full force. I just keep the tweezers handy every morning to ward off all the nasty signs of aging.
Gray hairs are not a sign of getting old, my friend. i knew several people, women included, who got some gray hairs as early as college.
i understand it must be pretty weird, though! i’m not looking forward to my first gray hair, either!
Ha! This made me laugh…but trust me, I am laughing only because I feel your pain all too well. I was yanking mine out, too, until they seemingly started to multiply and I can’t keep up with them anymore.
yeah, I don’t know why they come in curly and wiry. But because of that, gray hair is difficult to color. Oh, the joy.
My hair is thinning so quickly that if I thought I could get two greys for one brown, would do it!!
