Enough, Enough, Enough! We know you all went to the wonderful She Speaks Conference. We see all your pictures of laughter and fun. We see you shopping and sharing stories and blog advice. But, just to let you know, we kinda feel like the red-headed stepchildren that were left behind or at least the less popular girls in junior high (which I’m not used to because you know, I was and always am very popular … maybe not for what I should be popular for, like always speaking my mind and never shutting up, or maybe for my witty banter, or need I say SARCASM). So, to all of my bloggy friends that didn’t get to go to the She Speaks Conference, we must set a date to meet next year. Mark it down!

I so agree!
How far are you from Dallas or Atlanta?
We’re planning a dinner in Atlanta – possibly around the one day BlogHer that’s coming to Atlanta on October 21st.
And we’re trying to plan a weekend in Dallas in September.
Soliloquy,
I’m closer to Dallas than Atlanta, but have friends in Atlanta that I sure could visit and hopefully stay with. Let me know all the details. How fun!
I’m REALLY regretting not going. ESPECIALLY since it was held like 30 minutes away.
I could do Atlanta!
I hear ya 🙂 The blogging world does seem to have it’s little groups, doesn’t it!?! I feel a little bit like I’m on the outside looking in…trying to figure out how they all got in the group in the first place?!?
I’m all for starting our own 😉
Sarah,
Me too, girl! Younger, hipper blogaristas take over! I hope that’s not offensive to anyone, because here’s a secret … I’m not that young. According to my children, I’m VERY OLD.
That sounds like fun! Is there an age limit?
I could definitely do Atlanta. Just 2 hours away. Give me details and I’m there. I do feel a little on the unpopular, nerdy side when I see all the She Speaks attendees. Let me know if ya’ll are gonna do Atlanta and I’ll try to get it worked out.
Amen, sista! I didn’t realize it was that HUGE of a thing until I saw it on like everyone’s blog – like everyone! I’m in Ohio, but I’m all about getting to a warmer climate like ANYTIME of the year!
I SOOOO wanted to go and like Amy I’m only about 30 minutes away- but I was on vacation that weekend. I plan to attend next year though!!!
