I’m no longer using styrofoam cups even though that requires me to clean an extra cup a day.
It’s the least I can do … that’s like 260 less cups a year I throw in the trash.
Let’s not talk about the fact that I’ve left my reusable grocery store bags at home for the past two years every time I’ve gone shopping.

What helps us remember our bags if we 1. have a bunch of grocery bags of varying sizes which we keep in the car 2. Most stores are now giving back $ for each bag your bring in that they use. It is not much, maybe .5 – .10 per bag but it could it adds up to be able to treat yourself with something from Starbucks out the way out.
One step at a time. We keep our bags in the car. Sometimes I have to send the kids to the car while I'm in the checkout line because I still forget them! gack!
