As I have said earlier, I went to vote in our primary on Saturday. Yay for my man, Huckabee! (Yes, I know McCain’s gonna get the nomination – just don’t burst my bubble right now.) So, anyway, I sat down to read the Sunday paper where the election results were written. Here are the results and I think you will be able to understand the title of this post –
Candidate – Votes
Jerry Curry 508
Daniel Gilbert 181
Rudolph Giuliani 1,539
Mike Huckabee 67,685
Duncan Hunter 358
Alan Keyes 798
John McCain 65,066
Ron Paul 8,237
Mitt Romney 9,844
Tom Tancredo 104
Fred Thompson 1,538
Look at these results! First of all, who the heck are some of these people and who the heck voted for them? Secondly, PEOPLE, don’t you know that Romney pulled out of the race? Yet, 9,844 of you Louisianians voted for him … don’t get that one at all. Didn’t Giuliani and Thompson also bow out? Think of how many votes could have gone to the two front-runners – Huckabee and McCain … (minus Ron Paul’s votes would = 14,870 votes). I just don’t get it. Why would you go to the polls and even bother to vote if the candidate you liked has already pulled out of the race? I’m just flabbergasted and in disbelief over this. Can you tell? So,on an up note, watch this … apparently there’s people like this everywhere …
The video is no longer available. I figured that a woman who had a husband who was such a “technical genius” would not be putting up dead links.
Gotcha back sucka.
I know this is totally rude not to comment on what you wrote, but I’ve just got a second to say, “Tag – You’re it!”
Thank you for your sweet comments yesterday. And, yes, that poll is quite interesting to say the least! Hmmmm…
OK, I don’t know what your computer problem is, but this video is totally available. I would think a technical genius like you would figure out that you can’t look at it probably due to some sort of faulty internet connection at your current location. See you when you get home love of my life – who’s the sucka now?
Fellow friendly commenters, please ignore this playful banter between my husband and myself.
How do you feel about your new governor?
Love Bobby Jindal – he rocks! He will be a great change from all of our corrupt politicians. His first order of business is ethics reform. He’s going to have a tough time with that one, but I voted for him and support him in this decision. We need to get rid of all the corruption for sure!
My husband has a major man-crush on Bobby Jindal. He wants him to be president someday.
