To the writers of Saturday Night Live,
I thought the first Sarah Palin sketch was pretty funny … you know … the one with Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton. I got quite a kick out of it. I thought you should be commended on your equal opportunity mocking. You didn’t just take shots at the Republican candidate, but were fair.
UNTIL …
the last couple of weeks. The kicker was last night. The debate sketch was not even funny. It was quite stupid … of course, only making McCain look bad, not your precious Obama.
And, Amy Poehler, I really like you. You’re funny. But, the weekend update was also all one-sided comedy. It was so bad that my husband and I, who are huge fans of the show, actually were disgusted and turned the channel. We couldn’t watch anymore.
So, if you’re not going to play fair, please stick to this kind of stuff. This is what you call FUNNY.

I am usually in bed when SNL is on – unless I am blogging. It is a shame there is one sided bashing! If they are going to bash, they should bash both side – I kmow the skits are meant to be funny, but the fun should be spread around equally.

Oh man do I remember this. I really miss Will Ferrall on the show. I enjoyed this so much I watched it twice! I needed to laugh today.
