Every year I shop on Black Friday.
But, not this one.
Thanks to some unexpected expenses, I will be doing the rest of my Christmas shopping later.
So, I will stay in my pajamas all day.
And I will make my Christmas wish list (for those of you who shop for me … hint, hint … for Beau and any others wishing to buy me gifts which I will gladly accept):
1. Waffle-weave robe … comfy.
2. Tracksuit
3. Flip video camera for the blog, of course
4. Chimenea for the two weeks that are cold here
5. Waring Pro waffle maker
6. New TV to replace our broken one
7. Car for Beau (Santa, do you hear me?)
Happy Black Friday! Make sure you snag something for “Dare to Wear” on Monday!
Oh, wait … I forgot the Snuggie! Just saw this on TV and Beau and I laughed hysterically at how much these people look like monks. Must have one.
Are they seriously making money off of this? Is this a real problem in people’s lives?
I hope that Santa comes through for you!
I just saw that commercial this morning and said the EXACT same thing to my husband!!! A whole crowd of monks!LOL
I like that track suit too.
I got one of them! It’s called a ROBE. sleeves on a blanket. Yeah, that made me laugh too!
I, too, absolutely died laughing the other night when I saw that snuggie commerical!! Thanks for making me giggle again.
I want a track suit, too. So comfy. Enjoy your day in your pjs!
I, too stayed home this year….but have been shopping the internet instead!!! 🙂
I would actually use a snuggly if I had one. I know, I’m one of the few weirdos out there.
I wanted to be Christmas shopping this morning tool…oh, well.
Hey, I totally want a snuggie! It never fails that I just get all snuggled under my blankie and someone yells – MOM! I need this washed, where is my backpack, can you get me…..
I am a total sucker for anything that will keep me warm :}
I feel like I just watched a SNL sketch involving, yes, monks.
LOVE your new tradition.
I stay home on Black Friday. The stress isn’t worth the savings.
Totally monkish!
Your Christmas list looks a lot like mine will be for hubs. Apparently asking for a new set of awesome pots isn’t Christmas-y!
P.S. My new “home” will be at undergraceovercoffee.typepad.com on Monday. Since you asked! 😉
Now if only the snuggies came with mittens. My life would be complete.
ROFL, they do look like Monks! I want one though :o)
The first time I just died laughing at this commercial. I was WAY ahead of its time back in the 80’s. My mom got me a zip-up flannel blanket thingy that was VERY similar to this. And I am thinking I still have the thing. It’s a vintage snuggie.
Ohhhh! A SNUGGIE! I am cold All.the.time 🙂 Despite the funny factor – and the fact I would be totally made fun of by all of the people who comment on your blog (They will likely never see me), I would so use one! Maybe I’ll wear one and post it for “What not to wear”. 🙂 Ha!
I haven’t decided if I’m doing WNTW or not. Too many things to decide. 🙂 Maybe maybe
that commercial is too much!!!LOL
What about your back?? If you get up then your back will be exposed to the elements!!!!!LOL
Whuh?! Are you judging me b/c of my Snugli???
JK
My mom has one, my granny has one and my twin aunts…I however, have not taken mine outta the bag.
Love your tradition. Wish we could join. But alas, we must walk the mall from end to end soaking in all the Christmas Spirit possible in that brief amount of time.
Sigh.
I love my husband, but I am sure I could come up something better if he’d relinquish some holiday control.
