I finally tried the Spanx. Think control-top pantyhose on steroids and you’ve got Spanx. I’m now a lover of them. The best part about them is that the band that goes across your thigh doesn’t cut off your circulation.
Now, I have also come to the realization that Spanx can only do so much. You’re not going to go down to a size 4 when you get them on. However, the combination of sucking in your tummy by holding your breath all night and the wearing of the Spanx does provide significant results.

The best part of the Valentine’s festivities … what Beau wrote in my Valentine card.

Beau also had a wonderful Valentine holiday. I actually surprised him and planned an evening the Friday night a week before. It was a major surprise to him, which was the goal. I’d love to tell you all about it, but must keep my G rating.

I love the sweet note. My hubby always writes a lot in cards too. I tell him he should just write me a letter and not waste money on a card! 🙂

The problem with support hose is that it holds your tummy in and then everything flows over the top because it has to go somewhere!!!! I take it Spanx doesn’t do that?

I LOVE Spanx. The knock offs don’t work nearly as well. You can even get Spanx to wear with capris. That woman is a genius!

Spanx are AMAZING! I like the one that comes just up under your boobs and goes down to mid-thigh. I wear it with just about every dress I have.

I love Spanx! I like to think of them as wonderfully fabulous…the only problem is that it’s like taking a teeny-tiny rubber band and trying to stretch it around my bodacious hips when it would have been difficult enough just to get it around my left foot. 🙂

i agree to the before and after thing…if you’re willing to subject yourself to that. i dont know that i would be so kind. 🙂 i bought some spanx to wear under my leotard when i did CATS about a year ago. i think i must have ordered mine too big, because i wasnt that impressed with them.
