Christmastime 2007 … that’s when I started this blog. Yeah, six years ago. You’d think I’d be famous by now. But, no such luck.
This was the pic of my little belles from Christmas morning that year:
Even Roxy Belle was little. Now, that chunky puppy needs me to open the door for her much wider and stands and debates over whether or not she wants to attempt to jump up on her chair. She’s a little lazier and a little fatter. And, of course, annoyed by the positively most irritating dog we’ve ever owned … our almost one-year-old, pain-in-the-butt, Oliver.
I have succeeded in my goal of keeping this blog as a place for my kids to remember their lives (at least the part of it occurring after I gave up cutting and stickering scrapbook pages … remember those days? Haha! What was I thinking?) and a place to never forget who their mother was.
I admit I don’t blog as much as I used to. Life in real life has become much more involved. I think it’s become that way for all of us.
Speaking of those little girls I originally started this blog for … this is our family Christmas pic for this year:
My how they’ve grown. And, my how Beau and I have aged.
Merry Christmas from the Belles!
Hope you get time to hold your loved ones tight and treasure every single minute of it! I’ll be trying to do the same amidst the “stop putting your feet on me” and “why did you eat all the Chicken in a Biskits?”.
