I have posted many times about my hatred for this overpopulated superstore.
The thought of having to make the dreaded trip to WalMart makes me cringe. These trips are limited. I will only enter the store if there is no possible alternative … meaning Target doesn’t have what I need. Target and I are like best friends. I actually have Target withdrawals if I haven’t made a visit after a week or so. Seriously. Not joking.
Yesterday, I had a doctor’s appointment which led me to the other side of town, which I don’t frequent much anymore. I decided to stop at a WalMart store on the way (not near my home) to get a few things.
Oh. my. word.
The store was amazing.
Super clean.
About 20 people in the entire store and none that looked like this.
No mile-long check-out lines.
I actually enjoyed myself and took extra time roaming the aisles.
So, WalMart, I will begin shopping with you again. In fact, I will drive out of my way to shop with you. I will not shop the WalMart near me. It’s the pits.
And, is filled with this.
But, seriously, I’ll take the pajamas any day over the lack of clothing on most.

Warming: Some of them will blow your mind and may not be appropriate. But, they all are actual pictures that people have taken at WalMarts across the country and submitted.
You went to Pinhook huh? That place has made me love WalMart again. Which is miraculous.
I have a love/hate relationship with our walmart. I like shopping there but we do have the mile long checkout lines with only 3 of the 15 open!!!
I have a love/hate relationship with my Walmart. Love the prices but hate the trip. I usually try to get in by 8am and out by 9am so that I beat the crazy moms with 4 kids cart that runs me over in every aisle.
Yesterday I got "the look of death" from a senior patron that thought I should get my cart out of her way – we were in the checkout line so I'm not sure where I was supposed to go with it….
Wish my Target was closer….
It's so nice that you even have an option. Our wal-mart is the only 'mass discount' store within 30 miles of us…..So, since I have babies who require formula and diapers….we shop at wal-mart.
But don't think I haven't considered moving JUST so that I could shop at a Target.
I have recently discovered that web site you posted, and I find myself laughing myself into fits. You posted the mildest pictures on the site, and understandly so, but nothing makes me feel better about myself than looking over the newest batch of losers they post on that site. It's a new guilty pleasure of mine.
I hate Walmart and avoid it at all costs. There are 3 Walmarts within 10 minutes of my house. Thank goodness Target is 3 minutes from my house.
I get my trash compactor bags from Walmart, but I won't go in there to get them. I give my friend, a religious Walmart shopper, some $ and she picks up a year supply for me. Why a year's worth if she goes there all the time? I like messing with their re-order point logarithm. I'm just evil that way.
I know exactly what you mean. I usually avoid WM. It is always a last resort, but lately since they have cleaned it up…it is not so bad. 🙂 Still won't be my #1 though…nothing could replace Target 🙂
Blessings,
Amy
Like Sara and Jeanette…I have a love/hate relationship. I try to shop the sales at other stores so I can avoid it as much as possible, but we're on a tight budget so sometimes their everyday low prices make it a must. Wish I had a nice WalMart like yours closer to me 🙂
I frequent Walmart all of the time because of the lower prices…
And I heart the Walmart.com site… Lol… I'm just afraid I may make that website one day! I've been known to make a run in my PJ's and slippers! Hehehehe
When I saw this picture in my reader I thought: What in the WORLD…is she putting deoderent on right there in the aisle???
I'm not sure I need to see anymore of these pictures, I got a crap Walmart right next to my DELUXE Target…I like it because it keeps Targets prices low, I don't like it, well, as I mentioned it's crap. Can I say crap on here?
Last time I was in town we stopped @ the one in Broussard and I was super impressed! Exactly as you described. And I have the same feelings about Walmart as you do!
Now see, we love Walmart at my house. My girls used to say they could live at Walmart. And none of us are that fond of Target. It's ok, but we usually have trouble finding what we want. Walmart – we are there at least once a week and a lot of times 2 or 3 times.
I loathe walmart.
That's really all I need to say.
🙂
It must've been a fluke, b/c I live by the Pinhook wal-mart and I saw a bunch of people last night that were the "people of wal-mart"
I don't do Walmart very much. But then I don't do anything other than thrift and grocery stores very much. But I have to say, I loved this People of WalMart site you steered me to. I need lots of laughter in my life, and these poor people are assisting me in this.
Thank you.
I despise any shopping trip to Wal-Mart; however, I now go with my cell phone in hand WITH the camera ready to go! Seriously.
My name is Tammy and I think peopleofwalmart.com is hysterical (spattered with a thick layer of inappropriate). I can't help myself.
