I have a tiny compulsion.
I find it very hard to function without one of these.
I’ve been known to completely change my plans if I don’t have one or have forgotten one of these at home.
You must know what I’m talking about because I’m sure you share my same compulsion.
LISTS
Whether it be a “TO DO” or just a regular old “GROCERY” list, I’ve gotta have one.
I’ve been known to purchase items I do not need without this list, and due to the fact that my memory is fading, I’ve been known to simply forget to go to the bank or stop by the post office or even pay a bill without the list.
THE LIST IS LIFE. (seriously) I cannot function without it.
Currently, I am working on a “TO DO TODAY LIST,” “THANKSGIVING GROCERY LIST,” “THANKSGIVING MENU LIST,” “CHRISTMAS SHOPPING LIST,” and “CHRISTMAS HOUSE PREPARATION LIST.” (Note to self: Don’t forget to add find something for “Dare to Wear” to your list.)
Without these lists, my mind feels jumbled up with thoughts and things I need to remember. With these lists, my mind seems organized and my thoughts are in neat rows, except when I forget something to put on these lists and then have to add it, and then my whole system is messed up. That just sounded like mental patient material. But, seriously, I’m not crazy. I just need lists. That’s all.
Am I the only one?
I just remembered that I have a couple of awards I need to pick up. Don’t worry. They’re on one of the lists.
