{truth}
I don’t really make resolutions.
I think I’ve mentioned that every year at this time since I’ve been blogging.
To me, resolutions, are not made once a year, but are a constant in my life. They occur regularly. I’m always making resolutions.
I want to be a better person, live a better life, love God more, and love people more.
These aren’t things that can be accomplished in a few weeks in January or even into February, or better yet in a year or more. These are ongoing. I’m always trying to improve on what God’s given me.
The list above is a hefty one, which encompasses so many things … specific things … like being more available for my kiddos, organizing my house, cooking more, continuing on my path to better health, spending more time in Bible study and prayer, allowing God to use me in new ways, and generally being open to opportunities that arise.
Oh … and there’s more.
There’s always more.
And, more … and more … and more …
But, I won’t bore you with the list that involves things like folders and label makers.
I’m on this continuous journey of improvement.
But, I don’t want to get caught up in the work of improving my life and myself that I forget to simply enjoy the moments God’s given me.
So … here I go … onto more improvements and cherishing more moments!
