You may have guessed that already, seeing as I’m married to the best bass player around, my Beau.
There’s just something about bass players you just gotta love.
We rely on them for the rhythm. They are the foundation of the song. They create the groove.
Without them, music would be empty.
There are a few bass lines that I love and ask have even asked Beau to play because they are so cool. These are pretty recognizable and the songs just wouldn’t be the same without them.

This all leads to my pick for best audition ever on American Idol and my pick for one of the top contestants – Casey Abrams.
Simply amazing.
And, let’s not forget my Beau (I’m the gal on the stool singing the “ooh”s) … (take into consideration that this was about 6 years ago … Weight has been lost by both of us & we each have less hair).

Case Abrams is awesome! Love that bass. My husband plays bass guitar & I think he's pretty awesome! Actually we were married probably 10-12 years before I found out he played the bass. His mom or dad let it slip one day and now he plays at church. I'm the pianist and hey I need someone to help me out. I can't believe he didn't let me know for that long. I guess I should've guessed though cause he plays about anything. Piano, guitar, trumpet and now the bass. Sings awesome too.
By the way, your Beau is really good! Beautiful voice.

I NEVER watch AI – but Colton Dixon goes to our church, so I did tune in a few times this season. I really like Casey though. He seems like someone with real talent, which is amazing!:)

I haven't been watching much AI, but I might have to dvr it. Casey Abrams is awesome. Can't say I've ever seen a judge sing with the contestant (Steven Tyler has been a great addition to the show, from what little I've seen).
