After I’ve picked up the kids from school, taken care of the dogs, handled all homework (which is currently taking me until about 7:30 … I know …) while whipping up dinner, solved multiple problems in the house while cleaning the kitchen and doing a load of laundry, overseen the girls’ household chores and sent them to bathe, I finally get to sit.
Sit.
Ahhhhh … yes, sitting.
And, my sitting lately includes this little baby.
And, he really is a baby.
He whimpers when he’s not with me. Sits at the bottom of the recliner and just cries until I pick him up to sit with me.
I am afraid I am babying this cutie pie. But, for some reason, I don’t care.
He sits with me, follows me, and sleeps in the bed with us. And, he’s the sweetest thing!
Poor Roxy Belle.
She had it way tougher, but those first ones always do.
Don’t worry. She’s getting extra attention and enjoying little Oliver by kicking his butt when it comes to tug of war and running in the yard. She finally has a friend to play with.
We’re all enjoying our new little pup and I’m pretty sure he’s happy he found us.
