Hope you all had a wonderful Saturday! The weather here was beautiful. These roses are from my yard. We spent most of our day planting some pretty annuals in the empty spaces of our flower beds. I cooked a delicious dinner thanks to the pioneer woman.
The menu consisted of this Asian Noodle Salad –
and these Barbecued Shrimp (with French Bread)
And guess what we’re doing now?
You guessed it – totally being couch potatoes. We’re watching the Hannah Montana episode with Uncle Earl. If you have young girls, you know the episode. I’m in the big comfy chair makeup-less (Did you read yesterday’s post?). We’re about to hit the sack … long day tomorrow … church, soccer game, etc.
Uh, I was not being a couch potato. I was learning a song to perform TOMORROW MORNING at church. If you look closely, you can se the iPod earhpones
I am SO drooling over your food right now! And very, very jealous of your weather…we’re still trying to get snow melted here! Thanks for the blog love 🙂 And I’m adding you to my bloggroll too…changed the name just in time 🙂
The last picture looks like a flash forward a few years for us. Did that make sense?
Please post a recipe for that salad. It looks so so tasty. And J doesn’t shrimp which is a shame.
I’ve been craving crawfish for a while now. I used to waitress at a place called Cajuns here and we’d have crawfish boils every Friday night… but it went out of business.
Jill,
If you click on “Asian Noodle Salad,” it will take you right to the recipe.
By the way, we are total crawfish lovers too. We’ve eaten quite a bit of boiled crawfish this season. Yum, Yum!
Any leftovers? Can I come have some? Looks wonderful!!!
