Here are my girls:

(From left to right) Tiffany (my coworker, graphic artist extraordinare, and resident hippie), ME, Jane (coworker, singing buddy, cutie patootie), Sonia (if I had a sister, she would be it … as Tina Turner says she’s “simply the best”).

Courtney (coworker, our little voice of truth and practicality … a true Momma), Kim (former coworker, who truly has a pure heart and loves Starbucks as much or more than me)

Here we are right on the beach when we first got there and I didn’t mention Jeri (she’s to the left of me … she’s a jewel, also a coworker, and this girl would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it). As you can see, these girls are the BEST you could ever ask for in friends. Aren’t they all so pretty?

This was the house we stayed in. I took this picture from the beach … that’s how close we were.

This is what was waiting for us when we got there, except the pot was full. I took this after we ate. The house belongs to Tiffany’s dad. What a man! He made red beans and rice (not sure if that’s just a Southern thing or something everybody eats, but we eat a lot of it down here) Below is a picture of him and Tiff.

Not only did he cook red beans and rice, but had tons of snacks, but the best was his homemade chocolate chip cookies. I’m not kidding when I say they were the best cookies I’ve ever eaten … they were! I think his secret was delicious pecans roasted in butter that he put in the recipe. Oh my goodness! I practically tried to kill myself eating these things.

One last picture before we go on the deck of the house … overall a wonderful weekend!
And the winner is ….
