I’m super busy right now helping to plan and stage our Easter production, Betrayal. The production begins from the perspective of Judas and what he might have been feeling about the betrayal that he was about to commit. In doing this, he questions the audience about what they have done to betray Jesus. You know,we all do … daily. How quick are we to judge Judas for what he did, while all the while constantly committing the same betrayal every day!

There is good news in the end! The production ends with Peter actually coming out and addressing the audience and saying that Judas’ sin was not in his betrayal, but in his not willing to accept the forgiveness that God offers to all of us. Peter also betrayed Jesus, but accepted his forgiveness and became a great man of the faith. Thank God for His willingness to forgive us all in spite of our betrayals! I’m so glad that no matter what I’ve done, He loves me the same. If I were the greatest sinner in the world, He would still love me and be waiting on me to accept His grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness. Thank you God that You are faithful to me!
I John 1:9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
