Ugh. It’s here already.
Boo to February … a month full of king cake, conversation hearts, and chocolate!
Well, K Belle came up with this brilliant idea to firm up and get in better shape this month. She’s coined her plan “Fitness February”.
Genius, right?
I thought so. So we decided to do one of Jillian Michael’s DVDs, which just so happens to be a 30-Day plan. I’ve done the 30-Day Shred … really good plan, but this one’s a little longer – Ripped in 30.
The plan is to do this for 30 days in the afternoons or evenings throughout the month. By March, we’re supposed to be “ripped”.
Since it’s “Fitness February” our first day should be today – February 1st.
But, alas, Day One has already been postponed to February 2nd. This is not a good sign.
And, remember … I’m already failing at my second round of half-marathon training. So, it’s only logical to take on another workout during the days I’m supposed to be running, right? Right.
So … I will also be trying to throw in runs at the same time.
Starting tomorrow, of course.
