I love Christmas movies.
In fact, I would like to do nothing else but to curl up on the couch with a nice warm blanket, drink some hot little drink, and watch them all day.
Of course, that is not a possibility because …
#1 I have to bake a cranberry orange bundt cake and chocolate chip cookies,
#2 I’m drowning in laundry,
#3 I can see quite a bit of dust on my furniture,
#4 Once I wipe that dust off, I’ll have to sweep and mop,
#5 I can’t even begin to tell you how dirty the bathrooms are right now,
#6 Three more presents to wrap,
#7 Figure out what’s for dinner
AND
#7 Try to take care of this aching body (pray for my healing … I’m not a good sick person).
Anyway … got off subject there for a little bit, there are some movies that I must see every year. They’re part of Christmas.
Here’s my must-see list with my favorite clips:
1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
2. A Charlie Brown Christmas
3. Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer Reindeer (because claymation rocks and if you love it, you are definitely a child of the 70s)
4. White Christmas
5. Elf (I even watch this when it’s not Christmas.)
6. A Christmas Story
A Christmas Story – The most amazing bloopers are here
7. Home Alone
Honorable Mention:
Frosty the Snowman
Miracle on 34th Street
The Santa Clause
The Bishop’s Wife
There’s my top picks. Do you have a favorite I missed?
Elf totally tops my list.
I used to be all about the Muppets. Remember Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas? I loved it.
Merry Christmas! Feel better!
I’m a sucker for It’s A Wonderful Life. Zuzu’s petals!!! Makes me cry and laugh at the same time. My daughter thinks I have lost my mind.
Merry Christmas Mama Belle! Love your blog – thanks for sharing your adventures.

Uhm, am I the only one who LOVES Garfiled’s Christmas?
My favorite is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I’ve watched it a million times, and it’s still hilarious. And I usually see something new I didn’t catch the last time. 🙂
Can I put in a bid for the 1970’s version of The Railway Children, from this side of the pond. If you’ve never seen it, WATCH IT!
Merry Christmas Mama Belle! And a Happy New Year!
I love to watch Christmas in Connecticut! THE OLD version . . . the movie is . . . HUNKY DUNKY!
A really cute line from the movie!
Merry Christmas!
Ya, I think you’ve hit them all. We watched The Preacher’s Wife the other night…love it.
I haven’t seen White Christmas this year, yet. Wonder when it’s on?
I love The Christmas Shoes and the sequel, Christmas Blessing, too! I watched the Christmas Wish this afternoon for the 2nd time (not this year, 2nd time ever)
I think you got them all ~ but White Christms would be #1 on my list. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
White Christmas would have to be my favorite!!

Love Christmas movies. My favorites are A Year Without A Santa Claus. (gotta love Mr. Heat Miser and Mr. Snow Miser) and A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Christmas Story. Have a Merry Christmas my friend! Enjoy yourself.
Love ’em all, but this year Elf has been the most watched…I think it’s making it’s way to the top of my list!
Love ELf – I don’t know if you saw my facebook status – but seriosuly, I can’t believe how much I am like Buddy.
In fact – just the other day I asked Dave if he wanted to cuddle and eat cookie dough…
Love your list. But I would have to add Muppet Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Christmas Vacation.
Have a Blessed Merry Christmas!
I’m all about The Bishop’s Wife.
You got it…Charlie Brown.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Peanuts!
