I don’t know if I have much more to say than that.
If you saw the Emmys last night, you know what I’m talking about.
I’m sick of all their political comments.
Hey, Hollywood … stick to acting and stop pretending like you speak for all of America, because really, you don’t speak for any of us (but, I do like to see what you’re wearing).
If I were accepting these awards at some award show viewed by thousands of people, maybe even more, my acceptance speech would contain no references to whom I might favor in the upcoming presidential election. It would include only the reasons why I am happy and thankful for receiving these awards for my blogging skills. Point Made!
Now, I’m gonna share the love and award Rachel from Musings of a Future Pastor’s Wife the “Beary Sweet Blog Award.” I just recently found her through one of my other bloggy friends and have enjoyed her not only clever and funny posts, but her spiritual ones as well. One day I’m sure we’ll meet. She only lives two hours from me. It’s destiny.
The “Share the Magic Award” is gonna go to Beachy Mimi. I just recently started reading her blog too. She’s mama to the queen. Now, I see where the queen gets her wit. And boy, does Mimi like to share things. She’s always doing some kind of awesome giveaway.
And, I think I’ll give this last little award to my real friend Jodie at the Sky is Only Dark Between the Stars. She’s a friend in real life and blog land. She has a great post today that answers the question, “Are you the same in real life as you are on your blog?” Jodie, I say, “Yes.” Love you, girl. Just wish we could hang out less in blog land and more in real life.

And I so agree with you about the Emmy’s…I watched for a couple minutes and couldn’t stand all the snide political remarks. Gag.
Totally agree! Must watch for fashion – maybe we should watch it on mute?!

That is precisely why I did not watch the Emmy's. I just want to scream at the TV, "Just take your stupid award and sit down already!"

Gave up on awards shows years ago, the liberal slant of hollywood is TOO much for me. I hate how they use their fame and fortune to influence those who cannot think for themselves. *stepping off soapbox*

I didn’t realize they were on until after it was over, so I missed it. But I can tell you I would have been MAD hearing all the comments. Makes me wonder why people look up to celebrities so much for their take on politics.
