I’m heavily burdened this morning.

Literally.
Between the delicious filet with loaded baked potato, to the BaskinRobbins Love Potion #31 (twice) , to the apple fritters, to the wildberry crepes, to the fried catfish … I’m seriously weighed down.
I’m uncomfortable in my own skin.
Now, I must give myself a little credit for working out in the resort gym twice last week.
However, the extra food I consumed hardly evened out with the amount of working out.
All I want to do right now is run. Run, run, run.
But, can you believe it’s freezing down here? What in the world? I left TN to come back to the deep south of LA and it’s freezing, with cold blustery wind and everything.
So, I’m just sitting here waiting for some warmer weather … longing to run.
Sure, I could ride the exercise bike or workout with Billy Blanks, but I just don’t want to.
I want to run. There’s just something about running.
And, there’s just something about the music a person chooses to listen to as he/she runs.
My friend, Jodie, asked me to give her some songs that she can add to her running playlist. I was hesitant at first. You know I’m all about Christian music, but let’s face it … there’s not that much out there that makes me want to run. And believe me, I’ve tried all kinds of artists and songs. So, my playlist includes some Christian and some secular songs … the ones that really get me going.
So, here it is. I’ve picked out my top 10 songs that really make me move (Both Christian and not), and I’ve tried to include a link if available (when appropriate).

Click the links to hear the songs. Some are videos, some are not.
1. Believe by Britt Nicole
2. Gone by Kelly Clarkson
3. Hello/Goodbye by Jessie Daniels
4. Kick It Out by Heart –
5. Emergency by Paramore (the only band that I have their entire album on my running playlist … love ’em)
6. Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake (’cause I’m seriously trying)
7. Shine by Krystal Meyers
8. Single Ladies by Beyonce’ (Have you seen this girl dance?)
