Which one will I choose?
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.
American Idol has contestants. Biggest Loser has contestants.
American Idol contestants are singers. Biggest Loser contestants are overweight.
American Idol has crabby and rude (which I love) judges. Biggest Loser has crabby and rude (which I love) trainers.
American Idol contestants could kick Biggest Loser contestants’ butts. Bob and Jillian could take on all four judges at the same time.
American Idol contestants cry. Biggest Loser contestants cry.
American Idol does a shameless push for Coke. Biggest Loser makes pushes for Extra gum, Sugar-Free Jell-O, Ziploc Steam Bags, and water.
American Idol is about 45 minutes long when you fast forward through all the commercials and dramatic looks. Biggest Loser is about 30 minutes long when you fast forward through all the commercials and dramatic looks.
Ryan Seacrest takes forever to tell the contestants whether or not they’re going home. Ally What’s-Her-Name takes forever to tell the viewers what the contestants’ weights are.
American Idol contestants show lots of skin. Biggest Loser contestants show even more skin.
American Idol has lots of bleeps. The Biggest Loser has lots of bleeps.
Good thing I have a DVR.
I agree – tough, tough decision! I do not have a dvr, so I picked AI. That is the only show that I have been a little bit obsessive about. Gotta watch my American Idol. 🙂
Loved it. I watched AI and Tivo’d Biggest Loser, because I’m still going to give it a chance although the first episode made me a little upset. Are you gonna keep writing about them as the weeks pass?
I FF through what seems like, most of TBL, but I love the show. I stopped watching AI three years ago. I have this vow not to buy anything from an AI. Is that weird or what?
Isn’t DVR amazing? 😉 I love watching Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie in the afternoons — when they actually come on in the morning, lol.
Good comparisons. I pick Biggest Loser…I’m the only one in blog land who doesn’t like American Idol.
I love American Idol. Don’t you think a lot of those people tryout just to make the gag reel?
I love having a DVR. I can’t imagine watching TV without it anymore.
I have to say I choose American Idol. Mainly because I’ve never caught the Biggest Loser bug. But my favorite episodes of AI are always the beginning…Oh.My.Word. Hilarious. You know what to expect, but it just never gets old. 🙂
Biggest Loser!!!!
I get to watch all my addictions through DVR. Trust me there are a lot. AI was fun last night. Bikini girl cracked me UP.I can’t wait to see the episode when her beloved Simon actually tells her she should have kept the suit on! Bwhahaha. Alison Sweeny drives me nuts she’s why I stopped watching days of our lives! I can’t watch her. I do watch the first and last Episodes though.
You crack me up!!
Right now I will have to say The Biggest Loser, because all the bad singing gets on my nerves. Really what gets on my nerves is that these crazy people think they can sing.
Hey, I sing bad and I know it! I do not have to get in front of all America to find out….goodness I am sure someone had to tell them before they showed up for American Idol that they could not sing???
Wow, I almost had to get my soap box out!!
I really need to start watching more TV.
Luckily you’ve got DVR.
-FringeGirl
Which is why I don’t watch either…LOL
I love both. And NO DVR. What’s a girl to do?! Break out the VHS tape, I guess.
Last night I cried for Jerry. Although, I almost always cry. That’s just me.
I love all my shows. 🙂
Neither of them here. I cannot stand AI but I did LOVE Rock Star_______. We watch NCIS on Tuesdays. If we didn’t have DVR, we wouldn’t be watching much since we wait for the hooligans to go to bed.
too funny! thank goodness for DVR. But for me, they show BOTH at the gym so I can switch back and forth!!!
Oh my gosh now I am torn between the two!
I got with The Biggest Loser – it is more inspirational and gets me motivated. I have a hard time watching Simon – he is just not nice!
Seriously, I gave up on AI back when that Hicks dude won. Ew. I cannot abide.
But hey–Lost returns next Wednesday. Hallelujah!
I’m an American Idol kinda girl!!!
I had the same super tough dilemma. Love them both, and I don’t have a DVR…boo. So…I chose AI, but with frequent flipping back to Biggest Loser. My hubby gave up and went in the other room. 🙂
