Here’s the way I see it:
Syesha – She looked beautiful and this is definitely the best she has ever done. You could tell that this was her thing. Randy was right about the possibility of her being a real Broadway star.
Jason – I’m quite worried about how he’s going to do. I’m not believing that he’s singing “Memories,” from Cats. Andrew Lloyd Weber said it was sung by a “old glamourpuss.”WEIRD! And WEIRD CHOICE! I love him, but he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. The song was just OK, but this was not his style. Bad night for him! Hmmmm …. I’m worried he may be gone tomorrow. Ryan called Simon a “glamourpuss,” … that part was cool! (Hee, Hee)
Brooke – Another one I’m worried about because she also has such a unique voice. She did not just start over, did she? Hello … you don’t start over, you just go on! I’m still not believing she said, “I’m sorry” and started over. I can’t hear anything she’s singing because I’m in a state of unbelief. So, did she do OK? She may be gone now for sure.
David A. – Let’s see if he opens his eyes … ooh, he almost closed them. What a shame that that’s what he’s having to think about while he sings … “Don’t close your eyes, don’t close your eyes.” He sounds good as always. Sorry, but I’m just not crazy about him, still don’t know why.
Carly – LOVE HER!!! She did awesome as usual and I loved her dress. Andrew Lloyd Weber was right. I’m glad he changed her song. Nothing else to say … She rocked! Loved the t-shirt.
David C. – How’s he going to rock Andrew Lloyd Weber? OK, totally creeping me out with him singing this song to good ole’ Andrew! I’m quite impressed with him tonight … hittin’ the high note and all. I was concerned he wouldn’t be able to pull this style off, but he actually did well.
My predictions:
Going Home – Brooke or Jason
Top Girl – Carly
Top Guy – David C.
I think it’s eerie how closely we think about this show – I had almost exactly the same thoughts. I did think that Brooke handled her mistake with grace, but have the feeling it’ll probably hurt her. I’d hate to see her go home, but have the feeling it’ll be either her or Jason.
