I got this free trial in the mail.
It’s name: Eyepothesis
It’s claim: A 20-minute eye lift –
That would tone and firm, smooth and moisturize, and most importantly, tighten and lighten.
How? With the help of the anti-wrinkle eye patches with collagen boost.
Let’s see.
Before you scroll down, remember … it’s allergy season, people. I’m not well today. That’s the truth. I’m not just making it up as an excuse for my horrid appearance. I’m not breathing and light-headed. Puffiness is inevitable, along with messy hair and the look that follows a day of staying home trying to nurse myself to good health so that I can work tomorrow.
Remember that.
Here’s me before. (It takes some kind of brave woman to post pics like this. Seriously.)
Before:
One hour with the eye patches.
After:
Yeah … it’s pretty much the same.
In real life though, under my eyes was a lot smoother and lighter (says Beau). The box says you should do this 2-3 times a week. Who has time for that? And, it’s not cheap. Think I’ll just stick with my wide array of eye creams in my bedside table, and lots of concealer.
I agree with Beau. Stay with the tried and true regimen you have now. I wish I looked as good as you when my allergies are flaring up. You ARE brave to post the pics, even though you look great!
Seriously!!! I mean, all these beauty products take way too much time. Who HAS that time???
BTW, I showed my hubby your hubby’s eyebrow video, and he died out laughing. I was like, “This is sooo something you would do.” LOL!!
You look fine and I hope you feel better soon! As my hubby tells my girls, you only paint the barn if it needs it, and you definitely don’t! Have a great day.
I see a difference. I really do. Under your eyes do seem smoother. I hope you feel better soon. If it makes you feel better, Hubs hijacked my blog today for my b-day. It was very sweet but he kept saying things like I was old!!! Shudder….
Oh, girl, you look great. Before and after. 🙂
Concealer is a girl’s best friend.
2-3 times a week? I’m with you – I don’t have time for that! I cannot live without my concealer, though.
You are looking mighty fine – I wouldn’t have known you were fighting off allergies.
it cracks me up the things they come up with……who has 3 hours a week to wear those? plus you are stuck to your house b/c you certainly won’t go out in them…..of course maybe then the laundry would get done and some cleaning….hmmmmmm….maybe I should try them!!!!
If I win the lottery (which would probably be easier if I played it), THEN I’d maybe have time to sit around 3 times a week like that. Until then, nah…not happening. Besides, I think you look great without doing that – allergies and all. 🙂
OK, if you will post your makeup-less self, I will admit something that I have NEVER told anyone.
Bior strips fascinate me. The after, with the little pore forest on the strip? I find that amazing. Gross, but amazing.
So see what you started with this post? Confession is good for the soul.
You can spend a lot of money on all that stuff! And I wonder if even 1% of it even comes close to workin’ like they say. But I do have to say Clinique has really good stuff, pricey too.
I love concealer. It’s a life saver.
this post is cracking me up!
I got some White Strips for my birthday, and after reading the package, I’m wondering when I’m going to have time to spend 30 minutes a day whitening my teeth!!!
WHAT?!?
Your eyes look good! My circles are BLACK and my eyes are so puffy in the AM that I only have slits. Maybe I should try your eye cream!
